It might be a national chain, but Los Angeles's latest Pizza Fusion (the other one is in Santa Monica) still feels like a neighborhood pizza parlor only with really fresh ingredients and a tree-hugging spark in its ovens

The signature Farmer's Market Pizza is a medley of roasted artichoke hearts, zucchini, Portobello mushrooms,

red onions, provolone and parmesan, or try the Founder's Pie with free-range chicken, kalamata olives, roasted red onion, tomato sauce, parmesan, mozzarella, provolone and gorgonzola. You can get any of the items, including a make-your-own pie, in an individual or large size.

Some of the other personalized touches you'll find are oddly shaped (oval) pizzas, hand-signed delivery boxes, and only organic and all-natural ingredients, as well as two signature crusts (go for the white crust rather than the healthier multigrain-it might not be better for you, but it's just plain better).

And it's not just the pizza. The salads and sandwiches are also environmentally friendly, and desserts can be made vegan, and casein-and-gluten-free for your allergic friends and family.

Though pizza is the ultimate delivery food, consider stopping by with the other families and quiet date night diners patronizing the place in the early evening, and enjoy a selection from the beer and wine list, each of which has a small description about its farming and processing methods. Now that's taking the idea of drinking responsibly to the next level.
