An eerie skeletal rendering of the iconic Academy Award 'Oscar' statuette appeared atop Runyon Canyon on Thursday, March 4, 2010. The artist behind the statue is UK-based street artist D*Face who included a plaque at the bottom reading "Beauty is just a slice away."
