Giant Robot has a new giant art show!

"Patchwork" is a freshly-hatched, group-exhibit showcasing the work of dozens of artists -- each contributing a piece of art on a small square of fabric that incorporates into a "quilt" of drawings, paintings, textiles and various mixed-media creations.

An artist reception opened the event last weekend and the show runs through April 7, 2010 at GR2 on Sawtelle.

Participants: Abby Armada, Chris Bettig, Michelle Borok, Ryan Bubnis, Christine Castro, Louise Chen, Cupco, Jo Dery, Jordan Fu, Douglas Gauthier, Susie Ghahremani, Alison Gordon, Nao Harada, Austin Horton, David Horvath, Kerry Horvath, Yellena James, Marc Johns, Sian Keegan, Dan-ah Kim, Sun-Min Kim, Diana Kwok, Jenny Kwok, Phil Lumbang, Monica Magtoto, Keyla Marquez, James McShane, Matthew Nelson, Tru Nguyen, Carmel Ni, Saelee Oh, Kelice Penney, Jarrett Quon, Albert Reyes, Brian Rush, Jenny Ryan, Yumi Sakugawa, Ashira Siegel, Ryan Jacob Smith, Peter Thompson, Jeremy Tinder, Mark Todd, Christine Vincent, Esther Pearl Watson, Steven Weissman, Leslie Winchester, and more.
