Track 16

There’s no commercial gallery bigger in the Bergamot Arts complex to see bold pop, vintage, and political art.

Alternately showcasing huge neon Las Vegas signs, vintage wares and slick photomontages of cows—Track 16 packs an explosive punch. The gallery’s focus is not simply art, but art that often makes politically charged statements. In addition to group shows with titles such as “Disarming Images” and “States of Emergence: Cracks in the Art World Infrastructure,” this active arts hive has made a home for the LA Weekly’s annual biennial, showcasing a selection of MFA students from around Southern California’s prestigious art schools. —Melissa Lo
