Jenny Mendoza and Jennifer Paschall (formerly two of the most popular waxers at WAX in West Hollywood) opened the doors their sexy little boutique-salon about two months ago in the Noho Arts District. The close friends turned business partners saw how their former place of employment was operating (by owners who were not estheticians) and thought, "We can do this!"

Specializing in full body waxing, bikini varieties, arm and leg treatments and face services for brow and lip, Strip blends European blue hard wax and strawberry cream -- a combination Paschall praises for protecting sensitive skin and treating in-grown hair.
They use Solari skin care products, an in-house line created by the owners with the help of a skin specialist, with products like the 'Strawberry Almond Scrub,' and 'Green Tea Cleanser' that provide natural exfoliation for soft, healty skin after waxing.
Strip also has a special menu of waxing services for men (because they deserve to look so fresh and so clean clean too), and they even make house calls if you prefer to have hair ripped from your body in the privacy of your own home.
Selected for their feminine appeal and European quality, Strip features high-end lingerie for purchase in the salon. Cosobella panties and Tra La La ruffled pieces range from $16 to $60, and Paschall is excited to add Spanx (the much-loved line of footless pantyhose and body shapers) to the product list.
In addition to managing the business, Mendoza and Paschall are currently the only estheticians at Strip. While they continue to carry out their search for the best waxers in town, they are handling all the treatments personally to insure every customer receives the best waxing experience possible. With that said, booking appointments in advance is highly recommended.
