A Hangover To Make St. Patty Proud
 In an attempt to avoid the disorderly drunkenness, we opted for a low-key bar stroll instead of hotspot hopping. And what better neighborhood to bust a low-key bar stroll than Atwater Village. Our stomping ground for the night was that small strip of Los Feliz Blvd. that is home to some of our favorite L.A. dives, Bigfoot Lodge and The Roost. St. Patty's just happened to coincide with karaoke night at Bigfoot Lodge, where even apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas (whose studio is also in Atwater Village) and his cardigan-clad posse enjoyed the vocal stylings of Atwater's Next stop, The Roost, where we enjoyed our Guinness in our own intimate booth without being bothered by drunk biker chicks singing "Sweet Caroline". The free popcorn didn't hurt, but those extra Patron shots did. Hope everyone had a fun and safe St. Patty's day!!
