Loco For Coco De Ville
Coco de Ville, the new all-out colorful, plush bar inside West Hollywood's STK, called our names last night with IZZE cocktails – the tastiest part of our night. Without A-list celebs stealing the venue's thunder, we were able to enjoy Coco de Ville's decor and crowd without being bothered by pesky celeb-spotting. The literal spotlight – an all too bright video cam – was on the ultra comforting décor and chatty crowd. The space is rather seductive. A tipsy table dance wouldn't be appropriate for the bar that seems skewed towards the older, suit-like set – and wouldn't be safe either, given the raised bar, dropped lounge and dark quarters. Guests munched to their skinny heart's delight on mushroom bites, shrimp tempura, chicken curry salad, and short ribs which glided out from the main floor steps away. Watch out Coco, we'll be back soon for seconds…
