It’s Amore!
Shereen Arazm is on a tear. The woman behind our new favorite spot Parc (check back for the review on April 5), not to mention Shag, Geisha House, Bella and just about every other cool spot in Hollywood is gearing up to open an Italian eatery called Terroni in the space that used to house Authentic Café (7605 Beverly Boulevard). Unlike her other spots that attract trendy types, she says this pizzeria will lure in all types from ages eight to 80. Aww. Terroni is actually an outpost of a small Canadian chain; this will be the first stateside location. "This place is my heart and soul," she said. "In Canada [where I am from] this is where I had my first service industry job. I was 18 and the people who owned it were in their early 20s. I made the coffee, washed the dishes, bussed tables." This time around, she's one of the owners along with the original Canadian crew, but she still pulls her weight in the front of the house and behind the scenes. It opens early this summer.
