Diplo And Drew Barrymore: Double D Fun At Beauty Bar
We've made it no secret that we're HUGE Diplo fans - he's a DJ's DJ that oh so perfectly blends genres for blended crowds of hipper-than-thou scenesters and hardcore hip-hop heads. We parked our partying asses at Beauty Bar Monday night for Franki Chan's Still F***ing Awesome to see the master mixmaster/producer do some damage.
As we walked in around 11:15pm, Justin Long, Drew Barrymore and Jonah Hill were walking out. They returned around 1 am, when Diplo started his set with Kid Sister's "Pro Nails". Teeny-tiny Barrymore, in a striped cardigan and Chucks, and Long were stealing kisses every other second, thinking no one was watching. The party was hype before he got there, but after only a minute into his set, the party really got live with partygoers jumping on chairs and spilling drinks until a little past 2 in the morning.
