Tales From The Playboy Mansion

The 3rd Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament (sponsored by yours truly, LA.COM) was held last weekend at the legendary Playboy Mansion. The event raised money to benefit the Urban Health Institute, while at the same time giving new meaning to the expression, "painted on jeans.”

However, gaining access to the Mansion required that you first pass a ground test of wits and wiles beginning in the badlands of Century City.  If you survived the parking structure and the chaotic, underground check in process, you were rewarded with a carbon monoxide facial (free of charge) and a rowdy shuttle to the main event.

Hef’s guests were greeted by peacocks on the manicured driveway.  The front of the house boasted a lawn of gaming tables, and the back yard hosted the naked, painted ladies.  There was also a silent auction, an LA.COM bar, and food food food.

The tournament was knocking out players faster than a ring toss on the Boardwalk, but this seemed to be somewhat of a relief to the castaways who could be found out back ogling women and stuffing their faces with seafood gumbo.  See for yourself…
