It was Christmas in July for the paparazzi last Friday, July 11th at The Kress grand opening in Hollywood. The huge crowd of camera-wielding paps circled around the clusterf**k of wannabe starlets trying to see their fave A-listers on The Kress' exclusive rooftop party hosted by Chris Paul, Pantera Sarah, and Zen Freeman. Pantera Sarah was overheard saying that they received over 1400 RSVP's for the night.

Spotting celebs on the rooftop that night was like shooting very pretty and rich fish in a booze-filled barrel.

We spotted super happy looking couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel arrive at their cabana holding hands and surrounded by their entourage. Biel toted around a huge Chanel bag and her beautiful booty was in Willam Rast jeans. Her ex-boyfriend, the Human Torch himself, Chris Evans hovered around their cabana for part of the night. We caught Timberlake giving Biel an Oh-sh*t-your-ex-boyfriend-is-here look.

Former Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson was all suited up and lounged at his VIP table by the rooftop bar until he and his posse left early (by club opening standards). Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, and his entourage took over the Richardson's table. We spotted Levine and The Hills' Justin Bobby greeting each other with playful punches before Justin Bobby told the crooner cutie to help him keep all the groupies away from him. Levine left via piggyback ride around 1am.

A regular hard-partying fixture on the partying scene, Shane West, clad in a white v-neck tee and a fedora was whispering sweet nothings into his girlfriend's ear all night. A few feet away, a nondescript Andrew Keegen hung out in his cabana all night. A very tall and vest-ed Shawn Wayans stood surverying the crowd by the entrance was on the prowl for the night. The OC's Ben McKenzie circled the rooftop also on the prowl with a male friend for most of the night.

The Kress was a rooftop reality show reunion. Veronica Portillo from the Real World/Road Rules challenges sported a gold headband and took laps around the rooftop hoping people would recognize her. Jamie from The Real World: San Diego partied at a VIP table and Kourtney Kardashian canoodled with her boyfriend.

She Wants Revenge's Adam 12 was the DJ for the night and spun a mix of mellow down-tempo loungey tracks until we got on the dancefloor (read: the small patch of fake grass in front of the DJ booth) and he played our favorite 90's hip hop jams until the end of the night.

Tip: Ladies, wear comfortable shoes because the walk down the four flights of the stairs at the end of the night will do a number on your pretty little toes.

this is possibly the worst venue to hit LA in years since the highlands opened up. terribly logistics and uber tacky design even by the poor standards of vegas. pantera sarah and her crew is all but done...im guessing they have a few weeks left before they completely embarrass themselves. saturday will be a strong consistent c-list crowd for a few months
