The Globe Theatre at Universal Studios Hollywood got downright skintight this morning as characters from the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show turned up and turned out for a shot to play their favorite fantasy freak. A stage production tribute of the transsexual feel-good-film of the century is set to debut during Halloween Horror Nights (beginning October 2).

An open call for singers and dancers found time warpers like Dr. Frank N Furter, Janet Weiss, Brad Majors, Riff Raff, Magenta and Rocky lined up in their various undies at 9:00 AM to audition -- I only hope the midwest tram tourists got a look at the slinky mess of makeup roasting in the sun. Welcome to LA, kids.

Universal has undergone a terrifying re-design for Halloween Horror Nights 2009 -- they are currently poised for 16 nights of you fear-peeing on yourself in front of your date.  Prepare for new mazes and scare zones based on horror and slasher faves like Saw, Halloween, Shaun of the Dead, and more.  There's also a new 'Terror Tram' ride for a death-on-wheels romp through the historic Universal backlot.
