Meat in the street, people. Let's do this.

Saturday marks the first official LA Street Food Fest, and while food-truck gatherings are typically broken up faster than a middle school kegger, organizers Shawna Dawson (Sauce LA) and Sonja Rasula (UNIQUE LA) have pulled off a legit congregation of wheeled deals and heart felt goods.

Approximately 70 food and design vendors are participating in the "pop-up Valentine's Marketplace" to support Los Angeles-centric goods and services. Expect sampling menus with discounted food items priced $1-$5, a cash bar benefiting the LA Regional Foodbank, and last minute gifts for the ones you love and overlooked for presents.

With 10,000 expected to attend, organizers estimate the event will generate more than $150k into the local economy.
