PALM SPRINGS – The 14th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale will return on February 14th to the Palm Springs Convention Center as the largest Modernism Show & Sale in North America with the most prestigious collection of international and national dealers in the show's history.

 

Of the 82 participants, Mark McDonald of New York and Vintage European Posters of California will be in attendance along with Southern CA-­ based galleries Design\One, Fat Chance, ocmodern, Off the Wall, Reform, and Studio One 11. Debuting presenters include Alexandre Huygevelde of Paris, Gallery 925 of San Francisco, Gary Snyder Fine Art of New York, Loft Thirteen of Los Angeles, and Timeless Modernism of Florida.

 

"Since our first show 14 years ago, the Palm Springs Modernism Show has continued to grow in size and attendance each year," explained Rosemary Krieger, President of the show's production company Dolphin Promotions, "This year will be our largest modernism show ever with 82 exhibitors from across the U.S. and Europe. The event is completely sold-­ out, with a growing wait-­ list of dealers hoping to exhibit in Palm Springs.”

 

The show is also adding an exciting lineup of additional programming this year including a book signing with “California's Designing Women 1896-­ 1986” author Bill Stern on Friday, February 14th at 6PM to 9PM and on Saturday, February 15th at 11:30AM to 1:30PM and 3PM to 4PM. On Saturday, the show will also host famed architect Hugh M. Kaptur for a special appearance and buying opportunity of limited edition, museum-­ quality prints of rare original 1960s hand-­ drawn

 

building renderings by Kaptur from 2PM to 4PM.

 

Tickets are now available for the Preview Gala and early-­ buying opportunity from 6 p.m. to 9

p.m. on Friday, February 14th benefiting Modernism Week. Preview tickets are $75 per person

in advance and $95 per person at the door and are available online at

The show continues through the holiday weekend – open to the public – for admission of $20 per person at the door. Show hours are Saturday, February 15th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, February 16th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday, February 17th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros, Palm Springs, CA 92262.
