January 31, 2014 (Los Angeles) The west coast premiere of DUKE-CAROLINA: THE BLUE BLOOD RIVALRY, the most intense and in-depth documentary about the Duke-North Carolina basketball rivalry will take place on Sunday, February 9 from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Premiere House at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14.
Former players from both schools will be on-hand for Duke-Carolina Day at L.A. LIVE presented by Continental Tires to participate in a variety of fun and family-oriented activities prior to the much anticipated screening. Tickets to the premiere of DUKE-CAROLINA: THE BLUE BLOOD RIVALRY are available to the public for purchase and start at $10. Proceeds from the event will benefit STAPLES Center Foundation.
Duke-Carolina Day at L.A. LIVE presented by Continental Tires will be highlighted by a VIP reception scheduled to be attended by legends from the rivalry and other college basketball greats including Rick Fox, Reggie Bullock, Jack Coleman, Kenny Dennard, Ryan Kelly, Lee Melchionni, Antawn Jamison,Kendall Marshalland hosted by Time Warner Cable SportsNet's Jaime Maggio.
The doors open for the VIP reception sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Tyler's Restaurant & Taproom in The Green Room at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE and the Coca-Cola Fan Zone in the Premiere House at 3:00 p.m. The Coca- Cola Fan Zone will take place in the Premiere House lobby starting at 3:00 p.m. and will feature product sampling, a photo booth, pop-a-shot games for prizes, a silent auction which will include autographed basketballs, Lakers and Clippers tickets and more. The 90 minute documentary film is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
