Of his ever-rotating arsenal of projects, the next on deck is a second solo album from Jack White. The new Jack White album, which he hinted at earlier this year, is called “Lazaretto” and is due out on June 10 through his Third Man Records.
This week, White shared the first track from the album, “High Ball Stepper.” The song is an instrumental cowboy saloon rocker — think a John Wayne movie soundtrack meets, well, Jack White.
And it wouldn't be a Jack White release without a unique record package. Third Man Records members will receive the only limited version of “Lazaretto” in the form of a pressed blue vinyl, exclusive album art, a fold out poster to accompany the album, and a “linen pressed” postcard with cool Jack White things displayed.
He announced the follow-up to 2012's “Blunderbuss” through his website today. White is also working with Neil Young on his own upcoming solo album and is finishing up material from the Dead Weather.
