INDIO>> The second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival kicks off today and just like last weekend, one of the highly anticipated performances of the night will come from the recently reunited OutKast.
A lot of the talk surrounding the Atlanta duo, following their first performance together in years, was that it seemed a bit disjointed. The duo will take the Coachella Stage again at 11:05 p.m.
Girl Talk, who always manages to create the biggest dance party at the fest, will be mashing up his latest mixes on the Coachella Stage at 9:20 p.m. It will be Girl Talk's largest stage at the music festival so keep an eye out who his catchy tunes attracts to the stage — last weekend Paul McCartney was rumored to have even joined the stage to dance.
It'll be interesting to see how the The Knife closes out the Outdoor Theatre at 10:10 p.m. The Swedish electronic duo's performance last weekend was quite a visual site, and more interpretive dance than anything else.
To round out the lineup at the Outdoor Theatre, Broken Bells, made up of Danger Mouse and James Mercer of The Shins, go on at 7:10 p.m. while American rock band the Replacements are scheduled to perform at 8:30 p.m.
Anti-Flag will take to the Gobi at midnight while Crosses, the side project of Deftones singer Chino Moreno, go on 11:55 p.m. at the Mojave tent.
DJs Zedd and Martin Garrix look to repeat their performances to packed crowds in the Sahara tent. Garrix warms up the stage at 8:45 p.m. for Zedd who is set to go on at 10:05 p.m.
Opening on Friday at 11 a.m. inside the Mojave tent is Kab, while Alf Alpha is set to kick off the day inside the Yuma tent.
