Festival Supreme, the star-studded festival that brought comedians Adam Sandler, Jack Black, Conan O’Brien, Zach Galifianaki and others to the Santa Monica Pier last year for music and laughs, is returning for its second year in a new venue, festival organizers announced Monday.

The one-day comedy and music festival is scheduled for Oct. 25 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena and Exposition Park in downtown L.A. for an event that will be “bigger, better and even more supreme,” according to a press release.

Festival Supreme is produced by Tenacious D — the comedy rock duo of Black and Kyle Gass — and Goldenvoice, the creators of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

“Yes, Festival Supreme was the comedy and music event of 2013... but we’ve improved it tenfold. Festival Supreme 2 (The Metal Years) will feature a dark carnival haunted house circus of death! A hilarious short film festival!! Improved plumbing!!! And a line up of comedians and musicians that will shake the heavens!!!! We will leave all other comedy/music festivals crying in the dust. That’s a Tenacious D promise,” said Tenacious D in a written statement.

Festival Supreme’s lineup is expected to be released May 27 with tickets for the Halloween-themed festival to go on sale at 10 a.m. May 30.

Attendees must be age 18 and older.
