WEST HOLLYWOOD — Sheriff’s detectives today were investigating a report that comedian Katt Williams drew a gun on a person at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood.
Authorities went to the club at 8422 W. Sunset Blvd. Tuesday night after receiving a 911 call of a man with a gun, sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Valentine of the West Hollywood Station said.
Williams was not there when deputies arrived, Valentine said. There were no arrests.
According to TMZ.com, Williams was in the club “when a heckler started talking smack about the comedian’s height and race.”
“We’re told Katt was not on stage ... he was milling around,” TMZ reported. “An eyewitness says he went crazy, threatening the heckler with a gun.”
