Want to make a fast buck by betting which Hollywood actress will be named the MaxMara Face of the Future at the Women in Film awards on June 17? Put your money on “Big Love” co-star Ginnifer Goodwin.

Women in Film president Jane Fleming unveiled the successor to Emily Blunt during an intimate luncheon at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Wednesday. Guests speculating what impact the award may have included Rose McGowan, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Lauren Graham, Navi Rawat and Summer Bishell, the 19-year-old from Pasadena highlighted in “Vanity Fair’s” upcoming Young Hollywood issue.

“Ginny certainly looks very futuristic,” said Tripplehorn, a sister wife on “Big Love.” “We can now put her in sci-fi films and she’ll take off.”

“We’ll see her in some other space-time continuum,” predicted McGowan, who broke her left foot jogging into a wall earlier this week.

Goodwin, who turns 30 on May 22, is already looking ahead.

“I hope the humbling honor means there will be a lot of roles for me written and directed by powerful and successful women when I’m fifty,” said the honoree, who wrote her short speech on puppy stationery.

Time will tell but right now she’s a sure bet.
