'Sex and the City' - the tour

LA COMFIDENTIAL

For a mere $24,000, "Sex and the City" can be more than a TV show.

The New York Daily News says a high-end travel company is offering a chance to shop and party like TV's most famous single women in all their favorite New York haunts.

"It's a real fantasy for women," Joanne Konstantinakos, founder of the Destination on Location travel company, told the paper. "They still talk about this show all around the world."

One of the first women to book the trip is from Singapore, where the TV show was banned because authorities deemed its content was too racy, the company said.

And what do you get for that money? A five-night re-creation of everything Samantha, Charlotte, Miranda and Carrie would do.

That includes shopping and clubbing at the foursome's favorites spots as well as spa treatments. Participants also get to attend the May 27 premiere of the movie based on the series.

Wait a minute, there is an aspect of the gals' lives that Destination isn't providing. However, the travel company is saying it will give those who book a chance to hook up with some real Big Apple guys. >Wire Reports

Sandler turns in lame jock performance

Adam Sandler may wish he stuck to being "The Waterboy."

The 41-year-old actor broke his ankle over the weekend while playing basketball - but still won the game - according to a statement sent to the Associated Press from Sandler's representative.

Sandler, who starred in "Happy Gilmore" and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," is currently shooting Walt Disney Pictures' "Bedtime Stories." In the film, due out later this year, Sandler plays a hotel handyman whose bedtime stories magically come true. The statement said the injury will not affect production.
