Cierge: It's something to sing about

If you build it, they will come. To sing karaoke, that is, especially when the set-up is part of Sony's high-tech Cierge Experience. That spring preview, held Wednesday night at PaliHouse, the latest trendy boutique hotel in West Hollywood, lured VIP members of that exclusive, invitation-only concierge service to check out all of the latest high-tech products from the company's vast arsenal. Sure, there were displays of tiny cameras and huge flat-screen TVs, and even the awesome 11-inch Oled television, which emits organic light, but all the stars wanted to do was sing.

Cierge member and "Juno" star Allison Janney grabbed the mike and belted out "Rocket Man," joined on the small stage by her former "West Wing" pals Dule Hill, Melissa Fitzgerald and Lawrence O'Donnell Jr.; she was tuning up for her coming stint on Broadway in the new musical "9 to 5."

Stacy Keibler tried out her pipes with "Tainted Love," but bona fide pop singer Christina Milian, who said she was "fighting that cold everyone has," instead talked shoes with BFF Kristen Bell. Actors Brittany Murphy, Rachael Harris, Missi Pyle, Brad Rowe and Octavia Spencer also joined the crowd, ensuring that this spring they'll own the very latest and coolest gadgets before anyone else has even seen them.
