Opera might get all the "Us Weekly" buzz, but Crimson is the sultry safe-house where A-listers can escape the mega-fun, but chaotic groupie convention that is Opera.  A narrow crimson-lit hallway opens up to a rock-and-roll inspired den of celebauchery that makes partygoers purr.  General Manager Yoshi Fujimoto says he loves Crimson because “this room is just so HOT!”  Framed by python-tiled walls, faux-cialites can lounge comfortably on faux chinchilla fur couches or dance underneath the hand-blown glass light fixtures imported from Mexico.  The sexy, intimate vibe leaks onto the outdoor smoking patio outfitted with a fully-stocked mini-bar and lined with red velvet couches.
Hollywood’s favorite promoting posse The Usual Suspects (Ryan Cook, Brad Hoss, Michael Bellasario, Brett Hyman, and Chris Paul) host Monday nights where the (surprisingly) diverse and (not surprisingly) beautiful crowd can do some lounging to the rock-and-roll sounds of resident tastemaker Zen Freeman.  Friday promoters Nick & Brick Productions, Nicole Lenz, Jeff Duke, Adam Frankel, Oliver Trevena and Mic Beck bring a hot (read: drop-dead gorgeous) crowd that come ready to dance to DJ Skeet Skeet’s hipster beat.

MTV’s 'The Hills' filmed an episode the night we were there.  In between “takes”, Brody Jenner left LC and her entourage to party at his own VIP table where he canoodled with a tall, busty blond – probably one of the hotties he downed lemon drop shots with at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party.  Jesse Metcalfe was also there sans a drink in hand all night.  Maybe rehab really does work? - Stephanie Ocampo
