With rusted metal and rockets piercing the exterior's glass windows, Jet Rag is a blast to the vintage present. Inside the bi-level store, racks are organized by color, material or style, which makes cataloguing easier for the mohawked employees. The very affordable selection of good-condition clothing ranges from '60s, '70s and '80s, with a few higher-end collectible items from the '40s and '50s. Discarded prom dresses, Adidas tracksuits and even lingerie can be purchased at the store, but current popular sellers include '80s polo shirts, cowboy boots and band tees from Metallica, Motley Crue, REO Speedwagon and Led Zeppelin. The store also peddles collectible Levi's Red Line Big E denim jeans and jackets. For the best value, stop by on Sunday, when the store holds a $1 sale in the parking lot.
