Resembling an old shoe salon of Paris' past, the caramel-dipped environment is particularly inviting, quite dissimilar to the dog-eat-dog world of department stores. If you've never tried on a pair of Jimmy Choos (um, who are you?), you won't be afraid to do so here. Take a quick amble—yes, there's actually room—and do thank the owners for buying the superfancy Belgian mirrors. There's a delicate yet bedazzled selection of heels, some perfect for the workplace (like Isaac Mizrahi's) and others meant for that evening's charity ball (like Giuseppe Zanotti's). The flats and boots don't go unnoticed, nor do the handbags sprinkled among their heeled friends.
