Trina Turk is one of LA's most successful fashion designers. Her sportswear, largely inspired by the optimistic fashions of the '60s, are crisp and bright, ladylike and wearable. Palm Springs, where she has a second home, is a big inspiration for Turk, who never shies away from bold prints and colors. Her line is sold across the country in department stores and specialty boutiques, but this LA store, situated on West Third Street among smart design and home stores, is the best way to experience her "That Girl" aesthetic. Both this and her Palm Springs location were designed by Kelly Wearstler, who's best known for doing up hotels like the Viceroy, Avalon and Maison 140. —Laurie Pike
