Everyone loves a parade, right?! And what makes this one even more special is that it celebrates humanity's proverbial "best friend." A Dog Parade is just the way to ring in the holiday buying season (or something...).

With some outstanding, imaginative creativity, participants went beyond the matching costumes but they constructed actual floats. (Hey, what is a parade without floats?)

Not only did more than 600 dogs get to strut their stuff, but thousands of people get to have fun along the Long Beach Belmont Shores parade route.

To make it an even more special day, there was bulldog kissing booth, tons of vendors with free doggie stuff and the whole event is to raise money for various animal care services and beach clean up.
