Not everyone is a football fan. But it goes without saying that just about everyone watches the Super Bowl. Am I wrong to make such a blanket statement? Perhaps. OK, for those of you who won't be watching Big Ben and the Steelers march their way to a record seventh Vince Lombardi trophy (I make no apologies this time around), than head over to The Cinefamily this Sunday for their live broadcast of Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl VII. Aside from the overall cuteness of the players, it's probably one of the few times you can watch puppies play football, or something similar to it. Be sure to bring your Super Bowl sized appetite, because they'll also be firing up a grill on the back patio for some delicious BBQ. Real dogs aren't allowed at this event but the folks over at Bark n' Bitches, a boutique/dog rescue located at 505 N. Fairfax Avenue, will be on hand just in case you feel inspired to adopt a little pug of your own. You never know. He or she may be the next Ben Roethlisberger of the Puppy Football League.
