One of the best things about living in Los Angeles is the warm weather year round. And if you happen to live or work in a beach town like Santa Monica, well then, even better. So after a long day at the office it only makes sense to sit back, relax, and unwind with some half-priced drinks and good laughs with friends. Here is your guide to happy hours in Santa Monica.
Michael's: It's a short walk away from the Third Street Promenade, and has one of the best mixologists in the country, Jason Robey, on staff. So if that alone isn't reason enough to head over to Michael's for happy hour, which happens 5 p.m. to close Monday through Friday, and 6 p.m. to close on Saturdays, consider that its classy décor also makes it a nice place for taking your date. Happy hour food specials include $3 oysters, and other menu options for $6; drink specials include $6 beer, wine, as wells as cocktails "created and executed" by Mr. Robey.
