On Sunday, December 9th, during its annual Season of Giving charitable campaign, AEG is dedicating its holiday efforts to PADRES Contra El Cáncer (PADRES), an organization committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families. From 4pm-7pm, PADRES Contra El Cáncer in conjunction with Be the Match will be conducting a bone marrow drive on-site to try and help find a match for a child in need. 70 percent of patients do not have a donor in their family and depend on an unrelated bone marrow donor. The inner check swab collection is simple, pain-free and only takes a few minutes to complete.
Additionally, PADRES Contra El Cáncer will be honored during a special on-ice presentation at the LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE.
