Kevin Hart at Staples Center: The popular comedian and actor has extended his “Let Me Explain” tour, and will be stopping in at the Staples Center for a New Year's Eve performance. Joey Wells, Will Horton, and Na'im Lynn will also be sharing the stage with Hart for what's sure to be one hilarious night of comedy. New Year's Babble-Eve at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club: Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman will be performing their Hollywood Babble-On podcast at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club for a special New Year's Eve show. Tickets start at $75, and include champagne. This is a 21 and over show. Go figure?

Cleopatra's New Year's Eve Ball at the Egyptian Theatre: Ring in 2013 along Hollywood's iconic Walk of Fame when the Egyptian Theatre hosts its 3rd Annual New Year's Eve Ball in its famous courtyard. The festivities begin at 9 p.m., and will include live DJs, a light show, an open bar, and a balloon drop once the clock hits midnight. Tickets start at $95, and usually sell out in advance. Not Inappropriate Show: The Not Inappropriate Show at Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater may be appropriate for children 8 and older. But that doesn't mean it's been stripped of all its laughs. Presented by Naomi and Bob Odenkirk, the latter of which is known for his strangely hilarious work on HBO's Mr. Show, the show includes hilarious sketches and other bits designed strictly for the kiddies. All in all it's an appropriate way to spend New Year's Eve with the family. That is until you do all the inappropriate stuff later that night. Tickets are $12.

The Golden Stag's New Year's Eve Bash at the Park Plaza Hotel: L.A.'s Park Plaza is one of the oldest, most elegant hotels in all of Southern California. So it's no wonder that they'd ring in the New Year in 40s style. That's right, for one night the Park Plaza is returning to that long gone era of elegance, glamour and rip-roaring fun! There will be cocktails, cigars, singing, dancing, and an 18-piece orchestra playing some of the grandest hits of the big band days.
