Due to the overwhelming response during the holiday season and to celebrate the return of the hockey and the Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings to STAPLES Center, the LA Kings Ice at L.A. LIVE presented by Coca Cola will reopen at L.A. LIVE this Friday, January 11th at 5:00 PM.
The 132' x 80' outdoor ice rink located within Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE, is nearly twice as big as prior years and became Los Angeles' largest outdoor ice rink this season! More than 50,000 ice skaters joined the ice skating festivities in the month of December and reopening the LA Kings Ice will allow more skaters to enjoy the unique experience of skating outdoors this winter!
Beginning this Friday, a replica Stanley Cup trophy and giant banners celebrating the LA Kings Stanley Cup Championship will be displayed in the center of the rink replacing the 66' tall Sequoia Holiday Tree displayed during the holiday season.
The LA Kings Ice will be open Friday January 11th through Monday, February 4th, weekdays from 5:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. and weekends from 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. General admission skate rentals are $13, Groups of 10 or more are $10 and Military, Seniors and children under 7 are $6.
