IT'S SNOWING IN LA! -

Nothing marks the holidays quite like a fresh blanket of snow, skating on ice, and twinkling lights, and you can find it all at L.A. LIVE!

The sixth annual holiday tree lighting at L.A. LIVE kicks off Monday, December 2nd at 6 p.m. Nokia Plaza will be transformed into a winter wonderland for three magical days from December 2nd through December 4th, complete with a giant snow castle, a 30-foot hill for sledding, holiday surprises and more.

And, of course, it wouldn't be a Los Angeles affair without the celebrities. LA Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick will be there! FOX Sports Broadcaster Erin Andrews hosts the official tree lighting and American Idol star Pia Toscano is set to perform a holiday tune. Olympian snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White will be lighting the 66-foot tree at the center of the LA Kings Holiday Ice Rink -- the largest outdoor ice rink in L.A.!

The evening also will officially kick-off AEG's Season of Giving, the company's annual initiative designed to raise funds and generate awareness for non-profit organizations that serve youth and families residing in low income households in Los Angeles County.

MORE INFO: The Tree: Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE's 66-foot artificial Sequoia tree with more than 120,000 cool white LED mini lights is the centerpiece of L.A. LIVE's outdoor ice rink. The evening also will mark the season's first complete lighting of the festive holiday lights displayed along the streets throughout the L.A. LIVE district, which include more than 75,000 festive holiday lights along the streets that adorn 50 ten-foot angels, in addition to more than 265,000 snowfall LED lights covering 150 trees.

The Rink: The LA Kings Holiday Ice presented by Coca Cola is the largest outdoor ice skating rink in Los Angeles. Located within Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE, the 132 ft. by 80 ft. outdoor ice skating rink is the perfect holiday outing! The rink will be open November 30 - December 31, weekdays 5-11:30 p.m. and on weekends 3-11:30 p.m. General admission skate rentals are $13, groups of 10 or more are $10 each, and military, seniors and kids under 7 are $6. Season of Giving: Now in its fifth year, AEG's Season of Giving is the company's annual initiative designed to raise funds and generate awareness for non-profit organizations that serve youth and families residing in low income households in Los Angeles County. During the month of December, a different non-profit organization will be highlighted during a brief program at the Los Angeles Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE each evening.
