Hope Street Family Center honored as part of

AEG's Annual “season of giving” at L.A Live

 

      As part of AEG's Season of Giving, the company's annual initiative designed to raise funds and generate awareness for non-profit organizations that serve youth and families residing in low income households in Los Angeles County, Hope Street Family Center will be honored on the LA Kings Holiday Ice presented by Coca-Cola at L.A. LIVE. Hope Street Family Center is a community health, education and recreation resource of California Hospital Medical Center that provides early childhood development, family literacy, after-school tutoring, mental health, and family support services for children and families in downtown Los Angeles.

MORE INFO:   Hope Street Family Center: Since opening its doors more than twenty years ago, Hope Street Family Center has served more than 20,000 children and family members. Hope Street Family Center, a Community Health, Education and Recreation Resource of California Hospital Medical Center, has been serving low-income residents of downtown Los Angeles since 1992. Located within four blocks of L.A. LIVE, California Hospital seeks to address the healthcare needs of the whole family. In October 2013, the new Hope Street Margolis Family Center was opened; it is a new 26,500 sf. community center that expands Hope Street's existing child development, family literacy, after-school education, parenting, mental health services to include sports leagues, healthy nutrition and community wellness activities.

 

Season of Giving: Now in its fifth year, AEG's Season of Giving is the company's annual initiative designed to raise funds and generate awareness for non-profit organizations that serve youth and families residing in low income households in Los Angeles County. During the month of December, a different non-profit organization will be highlighted during a brief program at the LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE each evening.
