The Screen Actors Guild will present Rita Moreno with the SAG Life Achievement Award during Saturday night's award show.
Presenting the 82-year-old Puerto Rican actress with the award will be actor Morgan Freeman. Freeman and Moreno starred together on the children's show “The Electric Company” in 1971.
Moreno is one of the few EGOT winners — a performer who has won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and a Tony.
Moreno starred as Anita in the film adaptation of “West Side Story,” which earned her an Academy Award for best supporting actress. She also appeared in “The King and I,” “Carnal Knowledge,” “Singin' in the Rain,” and “The Night of the Following Day.”
The SAG Awards will air live at 5 p.m. Saturday on TBS and TNT from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
