LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2014) – The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, exclusively operated and booked by Nederlander Concerts, has launched a new off-site parking / shuttle service for the 2014 season. This service will offer non-stacked parking with easy access on and off the nearby 5 Freeway with shuttle service to and from The Greek for $7.00 per vehicle.
The new Greek off-site parking / shuttle option will be available for every show and is located on Crystal Springs Drive, north of Los Feliz Boulevard near the 5 Freeway. The 24-passenger shuttles are energy efficient with clean burning compressed natural gas (CNG) and provide a comfortable, air conditioned ride to the iconic venue. The Greek off-site parking lots will open 90 minutes prior to each event and remain open for one hour after the conclusion of the event. The lots will be well lit with new signage and staffed by The Greek Theatre's personnel in conjunction with SP Plus Corporation, the venue's official parking management partner. This service is available for advance purchase only, online at GreekTheatreLA.com, beginning today.
“We are thrilled to offer this new service and provide more parking and transportation options for our patrons,” said Rena Wasserman, The Greek Theatre's General Manager. “This will help reduce traffic in the neighborhood and allow for additional non-stacked parking at the venue.”
The Greek Theatre's 2014 season opens on May 2 with Under the Streetlamp, followed by the 3rd Annual Los Lobos Cinco de Mayo Festival on May 3 featuring Los Lobos plus special guests Ozomatli and Mariachi El Bronx. For a complete schedule of events visit GreekTheatreLA.com.
