INDIO >> Lana Del Rey treated Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival attendees to a new song titled “West Coast” during her performance on at the Outdoor Theatre on the final night of the festival’s first weekend run.

Just before Del Rey performed the new track from her upcoming album, “Ultraviolence,” she told the crowd she was going to play them a new song since this was the biggest show on the tour.

“I can’t tell you how right it feels to be with you,” said Del Rey, who was wearing a short red summer dress with a plunging neckline.

Del Rey showed her vocal chops with her opening number “Cola” and had the crowd enthralled, singing to her singles “Blue Jeans” and “Born to Die.”

At one point during her set she asked if she was allowed to smoke on stage and preceded to light a cigarette with the help of one of the band members.

She even let the crowd sing the chorus to “Summertime Sadness,” while the cigarette was in her mouth.

Del Rey slowed things down with “Video Games” and her closing number “National Anthem.”
