Kama Sutra-inspired menu, fertility sculptures along the walls, four-poster beds, candlelight: This Indian restaurant wants diners to get it on.

Nirvana is Deep Sethi's dream restaurant across the street from Bombay Palace, which he also owns. And what a dirty dream it is: Nirvana is a sexy, seductive space anchored by a glass-floored walkway stretching from the front door and past the beds to a six-foot Buddha head in back. (Size matters.) Chef Ramanuj Sahai brings spicy, exotic fare from his post at one of the world's top Indian restaurants, New Delhi's Bukhara: There is no $9 lunch buffet. Along with "foreplay" appetizers and "loss of innocence" entrees, tantalizing dishes include a whole roasted leg of lamb, smoked lobster tail, grilled wild boar, and plenty of food on sticks (kabobs are easy to eat in bed!). A small, more traditional dining room and fabulous enclosed patio with not one but two fireplaces will light fires in bellies as well as loins.—Lesley Balla
