Tonight you want sushi—something cheap, with cocktails and a patio but not too much of a scene. Lucky you're reading about this WeHo joint today.

On a block peppered with hotspots like Here and Pearl, this unassuming neighborhood favorite is for those who need a low-key breather from the three-inch heels and belly-baring T-shirts. (And then there are the girls' outfits!) The patio out front is made for prime Robertson Boulevard people-watching, but still feels removed from the masses. A spacious dining room and back bar are adequate for the times when just a pre-cocktails cocktail will do. The fresh Asian-inspired fare includes appetizers like tempura-battered asparagus, shiitake mushrooms and kabocha squash. Our two favorites from the Eastern- and Western-inspired entrees: chicken with miso-sherry glaze, and grilled salmon with star anise-port syrup. In addition to the more traditional sushi-roll offerings, crazy combination rolls include the one with spicy tuna, scallops, avocado and chopped almonds.
