Inside, a partial wall in the center of the space separates the California-cuisine restaurant from the bar. Candlelight bounces off the dark wooden beams criss-crossing the high ceiling, creating an intimate vibe and better lighting for those who want to disguise their age. Weekday nights cater to an after-work neighborhood crowd looking to relax over strong cocktails under a flat-screen TV usually playing sports. On the weekends, scoring a seat is more difficult for all except those who arrive early.
