Understated and peaceful, this Asian-style pastry shop delivers flavorful desserts in individual-sized portions.

The desserts are no larger than the size of your palm, and each one is a work of art. Some popular cakes include the "Inspiration" (a soft caramel with dark bitter chocolate, sea salt and cocoa bean from Madagascar), and "Desire," a creme brulee made with French chocolate. The shop also serves coffee and afternoon tea, which comes with a selection of finger sandwiches, quiche, scones and a pot of one of the 30 different kinds of tea imported from France. The walled yet open Asian garden is just the right spot to take a breather from Abbot Kinney's busy bustle.
