With a large, tree-lined patio area and an indoor fireplace, the pub's homey feel makes you think LA actually needs things like fireplaces. The brick walls and leafy courtyard are a nice break from the otherwise frazzled Sunset Boulevard congestion just a few yards away. But those who happen to stumble in when a World Cup game is playing to bellowing crowds of expats, may find the street more quaint and safe.
