Fancy-dancy Beverly Hills lunchers go to Barneys New York for a good chicken salad just as often as they do to burn the plastic on designer duds.

The prices are high above the average deli check at, say, Canter's. But the view, crowd and very Industry vibe in Barney Greengrass give off (even long before the evening, when the Hollywood types show up to hash out their latest deal over a nice pastrami) is worth it. There are few surprises on the menu, and service is generally brisk, but the smell of success and entitlement wafts over with the bagel and lox. The Barney Greengrass bar is a stylish place to de-stress after an agonizing bit of shoe shopping.
