The Grill, a Beverly Hills institution (The Grill on the Alley), now has a second home in what many industry insiders hope to be the future hotspot of America's entertainment industry, Hollywood & Highland.

The restaurant, adjacent to the Kodak Theater of Academy Awards, offers the same dark, opulent bar-and-grill interiors and snappy service as the original---as a matter of fact, the two locations share many staff members. The menu is heavy on American classics like Cobb and Shrimp Louie salads, heavy-duty burgers, steaks and chops. Although the basic menu is the same as the Beverly Hills location, a lengthy list of daily specials like a spinach and pear salad with fried brie distinguish this glitzy dining spot from the original. Conscious of its tourist-friendly locale, the Hollywood & Highland location offers a wide patio of outdoor tables overlooking the whole H & H scene from a top floor balcony. --Gayot.com
