Molly Malone's Irish PubIrish pub by day, rockin' club by night ![]() The heady smell of Guinness is in the air at this low-key tavern, which attracts locals and an international crowd that includes, but is not limited to, Irish-Americans.The original pub at this location is rumored to be one of the first to receive a liquor license after Prohibition, giving the space a certain soul. Molly Malone's (so named for nearly 40 years) is a local favorite for darts competitions (both friendly and fierce) and live music including traditional Irish folk, rock 'n roll and country. We once saw folk singer Lucinda Williams hop on stage to play an impromptu show. During the day, the lunch menu features pub fare like fish 'n chips, burgers and corned beef sandwiches. But at night—when a band is rocking out on the small stage—Guinness flows freely from the tap, and the crowd is packed in like sardines.
