If you're at the Getty Center, the idea of a quick, easy meal you can grab on the go sounds appealing. Thankfully the folks running the Getty agree and have set up their equivalent of a convenience store right next to the entrance of the Getty's signature garden.

Although the Getty's restaurant and Cafe offer more in terms of a sit-down meal, the Garden Terrace Cafe makes picking up a boxed salad, sandwich or just a bottle of water and a cookie that much easier. The "cafe" is little more than a stark white hole in the wall, which is exactly the point. Stand in line a few minutes, get something simple and relatively cheap, and wolf it down at one of the numerous outdoor tables before moving on to more culture.
