Tom Colicchio made Gramercy Tavern and Craft two of NYC's must-dos for foodies, so of course he had to jump on the celeb-chef bandwagon and open a restaurant in Las Vegas. But Craftsteak isn't just a pretty face with a big name behind it. The food, like tender braised short ribs, Kobe beef flat iron steak, plump roasted sea scallops and halibut, is delicious in its simplicity. And everything's a la carte, so you can have a protein-packed meal with no starch. (But be that as it may, you shouldn't miss out on the delicious copper pot full of dreamy potato leek gratin. Come on, you're in Vegas--indulge!) The wine list is impeccable, as is the service. And if you didn't have luck at the slots, a three-course "market menu" is offered for only $39 per person.
