The Silver Lake Jubilee celebrates music and art in Silver Lake, one of Los Angeles' most eclectic neighborhoods. The festival reflects the community featuring more than 20 trend-setting musical performances, arts from across the disciplines, local artists and crafters, exquisite food from restaurateurs and all Silver Lake and surrounding communities have to offer.

Musical and community performances along with great local food complement the interactive children's village and eco-village with temporary xeriscape garden. Arts and literary installations by local curators represent the strong arts community. Expect performance arts, comedy and special appearances in the entertainment lineup.

The festival is implementing Zero Waste initiatives with the goal of 90% land fill diversion and sourcing power from alternative energy resources. These initiatives echo the pledge of The City of Los Angeles and Council President Eric Garcetti to make LA the model for eco-friendly big cities in America. Through our partnership with SustainLA, the Los Angeles Arts and Athletics Alliance (Event Organizer) commits to ensuring the Silver Lake Jubilee is a positive addition to the community. The festival promotes and educates the importance of preserving our natural resources, as well as the importance of waste diversion. The Silver Lake Jubilee will not utilize Styrofoam, single-use plastic bags or plastic water bottles.

The Silver Lake Jubilee bridges cultural diversity through social interactions with the goal of stimulating community involvement. The Los Angeles Arts and Athletics Alliance (LAAAA), a non-profit organization promoting and educating arts and athletics through grant programs in Silver Lake and surrounding neighborhoods is the driving force behind the festival. Leading up to the Silver Lake Jubilee is a series of monthly showcases, known as Serenade Sunset, occurring the last Wednesday of each month. The showcases raise awareness for the Silver Lake Jubilee. Serenade Sunset is held at El Cid(21+) and the outdoor garden at Mi Alma Design(All Ages).

The Silver Lake Jubilee is an all ages event. The success of the event is contingent upon the support of the local residential and business community, Council District 13-President Eric Garcetti, Council District 4 - Councilmember Tom LaBonge, Silver Lake Neighborhood Council, corporate sponsors, private donors, non-profits organizations in the area and the City of Los Angeles.
