If you want an uninterrupted sight line to the screen, come to the Landmark. A sexy scene with delicious concessions? Perhaps look elsewhere.

There are two types of theatres at the Landmark. The first is the "Living Room," a smaller venue with big easy chairs and couches. For those who like to get cuddly in public, it might be the perfect option; surprisingly, it's the same price as the regular theatres, which are actually far better than the average theatre. The stadium-style rows are at such a steep incline that even Yao Ming couldn't block the view. Also, the screen is wider than the rows of seats, which means no neck craning is ever necessary. Oddly, though, Landmark has been focusing its hype on the less-than-stellar food. Quality imported chocolate is on offer along with the standard Sour Patch Kids and Junior Mints, but the featured products leave a lot to be desired. The pizza (from Pizza Rustica) is by no means good, but it will cure any greasy carb cravings you may have for at least a month. The frozen yogurt comes from Yogurberry, and for those keeping score at home, it tastes very similar to Pinkberry but the texture is icier and chalkier. Soon patrons will be able to take drinks from the bar into the theatres with them, making food quality a less pressing issue. —Katherine Spiers

I have to totally disagreee with the comments on the pizza. Its awesome and very good. Thank god that here is finally something good at the movie theatres. Maybe you had a bad slice, try them out at their place in Beverly HIlls, its the best in town

I want to know the movies that are playing at the Landmark Westside Pavilion. Please list them on my Home Page every day as Century City Westfield does this. Thank you
