How do I get there by car?

Those coming from West Hollywood or Hollywood can take Sunset Boulevard all the way there. But you're probably better off taking Fountain to Fairfax, especially during rush hour.

If you're coming from South Bay and the beach cities, take the 405 North and get off at Exit 55A toward Santa Monica Boulevard. Turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard and drive for two miles until you reach North La Cienega Boulevard. Turn left on North La Cienega, drive for about a half a mile, then make another right when you hit Sunset Boulevard. The House of Blues will be on your right.

Those traveling from Pasadena need to take the 110 South to the 101 North, then get off at Exit 8A for Sunset Boulevard. Turn right on Sunset and drive for three miles. The House of Blues will be on your left.

If you're coming from the San Fernando Valley, take the 101 South and get off at the Highland Avenue Exit. Continue onto Highland, then make a right at Sunset Boulevard. After two miles of driving the House of Blues will be on your left.

Those coming from Orange County should take the 5 North to the 101 North. From there you'll want to get off at the Sunset Boulevard Exit and make a right. Drive for a little over three miles and you'll be in front of the House of Blues.

What's the parking like if I drive?

The House of Blues does offer valet parking, but prices are a little steep and usually range between $15 and $20. So if you’re looking for something a little cheaper, then you’ll definitely want to park at any of the nearby lots. They usually cost between $7 and $10 to park, and most of the structures are within walking distance. You can find a detailed map of all the parking structures in the area by visiting http://thesunsetstrip.com/info/parking.  Metered street parking is also available, but fills up pretty quickly (especially during nights and weekends).

What's the seating situation like?

The stage is tiny but gives the club an intimate feel you simply won’t get at larger venues. General admission tickets are standing room only, so on capacity days when 1,000 people or more are in attendance, it can get pretty crowded.
